Medical Assistant

Position Summary
Ability to take vital signs, perform diagnostic procedures, drug screen collections, laboratory blood draws, and assists with clinical procedures and maintain patient charts. Performs other clerical and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Completion of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent experience.

Specialized Knowledge

Prior experience functioning as a medical assistant, administering care to patients, assessments, and triage calls as well as experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Length of Experience

Entry level to two years medical office experience required.

Additional Job Information

Very busy family practice of 4 physicians.  Applicants must be able to learn quickly and work well autonomously. Hours are Monday - Friday; 8:30AM-5:30PM or as required.
